23 killed in bus mishap, students in Nepal

In the western part of Nepal, 23 people were killed in the school teachers and student buses on Friday evening. After returning to the Botanical Gardens, the bus fell into the ravine when the driver lost control. Police told AFP on Saturday, the message was told by the police.

Police said that 37 people were on the bus. The victims are 16 to 20 years old. Two teachers and bus drivers with them were also killed. At the scene 22 people lost their lives. Another person died in a local hospital. 14 seriously injured.

Police officer Bel Bahadur Pandey said, “Initial investigations have revealed that due to reckless speed the bus has collapsed.”

Due to the violent road, the accident in Nepal is quite common. Apart from this, expired cars and unmanageable cars are one of the reasons for the accident. Last week, 20 people died in a car accident on the way back from a funeral ceremony.
