Conservative Saudi Arabia has announced a huge investment of US $ 6,400 million (Bangladeshi 5,34,808 million taka) in the next decade. Under the leadership of Yuvraj Mohammad bin Salman, there is a massive social and economic reform in the country. As part of this, a government official said Thursday that it is being invested to revive entertainment sector.

Ahmad bin Akil al-Khatib, head of Saudi Arabia’s general entertainment authority, said, “The money will come from both the public and the private sectors.”

Earlier this week, the Saudi entertainment authority said that in 2018, more than 5,000 programs were planned to be organized across the country.

Akil al-Khatib said, “We are already building infrastructure.” There has also been a place for the construction of an opera house, he said.

He said, ‘If God wants, you will see changes in 2020’.

Recently, several cities in Saudi Arabia celebrate National Day with the participation of more than one concert, local popular cultural program ‘Comic-Con’ and men, and women. For the first time, people in the country are also seen to dance on the street in music.

Under the leadership of Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, conservative Saudi Arabia has taken ‘Vision 2030’ to become a modern state. Saudis, as a part of the wider social, cultural and economic reform of the Saudi era, is changing the atmosphere of entertainment.
