7.9 lakh shots of AstraZeneca to arrive from Germany tomorrow

A total of 7.9 lakh AstraZeneca vaccine shots will be arriving in Bangladesh from Germany tomorrow.

The vaccines coming via Qatar Airways will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 5pm tomorrow, said a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today.

Senior Secretary of Health Service Division Lokman Hossain Miah and German Ambassador to Bangladesh will be present at the airport to receive the vaccines, the release added.

A briefing will be held after receiving the vaccine.
