India will request Zakir Naik to surrender soon
Finally, India’s most prominent religious preacher Zakir Naik found permanent shelter in Malaysia. The Malaysian government allowed him to settle permanently in the country.
But in the next two weeks, India will request the transfer of Zakir Naik.
India’s foreign ministry spokesman Rabish Kumar said this. He said, on the way to the end of our internal legal process. Malaysia Government will officially request the government soon after it is complete. Within the next two weeks, our request will be clear.
The NIA has filed a charge sheet against Zakir Naik last week for creating confusion and hatred among different communities through the speech. Afterwards, it is known that Zakir is in Malaysia. The Malaysian government welcomed him. This evangelist is quite popular in that country.
Therefore, there is enough suspicion about whether the Malaysian government will return Zakir, according to India’s request. However, the foreign ministry of India is going to take action on Zakir’s extradition by looking at all the details.
Meanwhile, a mosque in Malaysia’s father’s son last month. Zakir Naik is seen publicly. Apart from this, Prime Minister Najib Razak has given pictures of the meeting with Zakir Naik on Facebook.
But it is Zakir Naik has provided shelter to Malaysia, many have alleged that Najib Sarkar is doing politics on the values.
On the other hand, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in Parliament that Zakir Naik was not given favoritism to settle permanently. He did not break any law while living in this country. So there is no legal basis to arrest him. Apart from this, the Malaysian government has not received any request from the Indian government regarding returning Zakir Naik.
In December last year, a criminal case was filed against Zakir Naik in India. His organization Islamic Research Foundation was banned for 5 years. Since then Naik is absconding outside India.
