Boxer Mohammad Ali!

Mohammad Ali. His fame around the world.

In boxing was unbeatable. 56 out of 61 matches won. He was called The Greatest, King of Boxing and The People’s Champion. The legendary boxer was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the USA in 1942. In 1964, he took the religion of Islam. And since then, his career continued to rise. And he became the icon of the American Muslim youth.
A few years later, his wife mentioned the reasons for accepting religion with Belinda to Ali. Which was unknown to this day.

Belinda said that Ali was uncontrolled. He became arrogant. He was thinking that he started thinking of himself almighty. Then Belinda told her, you might say herself or the strongest. But you are never more powerful than God Almighty, nor can it be.

Then Belinda told Ali, why did he become a Muslim for writing on paper. Ali also sat down to write a paper and a blue pen like an obedient boy.

On paper, Ali wrote about his teenage days in his birthplace, Louisville. At that time his name was Casillas Clay Junior.

Ali wrote, one day he was walking on the road with a roller skating rink. At that time, he saw a black blazer suit selling a magazine for the Nation of Islam. Ali Nation of Islam and its leader Eliza Mohammad have already heard the names. But never seriously thought about joining the group. The group used to promote blacks separatism and self-promotion.

Ali picked up a magazine indifferently. But a picture draws his attention. That a Shetang Das Malik was seen to beat his black slave. And that black man is being asked to worship Jesus Christ. The message of the film was that the Sathanga forcefully imposed Christian religion on the blacks.

Ali said that I like that cartoon. It has a kind effect on me. And to me, it seems meaningful. It is astonishing that Ali did not mention any spiritual or ultimate reference to accepting Islam. Instead, he presented the matter in real life.

Ali said that cartoon made him aware. And he realized that he did not accept Christianity voluntarily. He did not call his name Casillas Clay. Then why should he carry the signs of that slavery? And if he does not want to carry his religion and name then what change can he bring?

After winning the heavyweight championship in boxing in 1964, Al Jan announced that he himself had embraced Islam and was personally independent. He said, ‘I believe in Allah and peace. I do not try to enter white areas. I do not want to marry a weird woman. When I was only 12, I was made a Christian. But then I did not understand what I was doing. I am no longer a Christian. I know where I’m going. I know what the truth is. I do not have to be what you want me to make. I’m free today for what I want to be ‘

In the next few years, Ali continued to unravel his religious views. He never had a clear vision. In addition, religious customs did not agree too much. But he never stopped questioning.

After the death of Elisa Mohammad, the National of Islam reconstructed itself. Then Ali grabbed the basic doctrine of Islam and read the Qur’an. After being infected with Parkinson’s disease, Ali could not afford to entertain and play boxing. At that time he used to call his devotees to discuss religious matters. He used to compare the Qur’an and the Bible. Ali used to say that Allah is not thinking about boxing for boxing. Rather, Allah is thinking about whether he was a good man and whether he has fulfilled all the responsibilities that have come upon him because of being a believer.

Ali also wrote that religion has asked us to constantly ask questions. And we did not want to accept it just as it was taught in some way.

Ali’s letter was his wife Belinda- later named Khalilah Camacho-Ali, who had discovered his biographer Jonathan I. Writing a biography of Muhammad Ali named Jonathan I ‘Ali
