Grameenphone launches ‘Digital Ninja’
Mobile phone network company Grameenphone (GP) has brought platform named ‘Digital Ninja’ for coders and developers. The platform was inaugurated on Tuesday at a ceremony at Sonargaon Hotel in the city. Present on the occasion as the chief guest, State Minister for Labor and Employment Mujibul Haque.
President of Bangladesh Association of Colchester and Outsourcing (BPCO) Wahid Sharif and President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Syed Almas Kabir were the special guests. Representatives from different educational institutions, information technology and coder community were also present in the program.
In this regard, Grameenphone said in a news release that the aim of the ‘Digital Ninja’ initiative is to help in connecting people with online platforms with the digital expertise involved in various projects of Grameenphone. The ‘Digital Ninja’ platform can also be used as a portfolios for portfolios for job applicants elsewhere. ‘Digital Ninja’ will create employment opportunities for PHP, Python, Java and dot net developers, UX and UI designers, ML experts, QA engineers, front-end developers, android apps, iOS app developers and developers of DAWAPS. Experts can apply on the platform by the White Board website (http://www.white-board.co/digital-ninja/2). In this case skillet will be identified in three sections based on the applicant’s skill, profiles and experience. The sections are yellow, green and black belt. Once the evaluation process is complete, the applicant will be considered as part of the Digital Ninja community.
State Minister said. Mujibul Haq expressed hope from Grameenphone and other business organizations in this business world to compete with global human resources development. He also said the government’s goal of working relentlessly to create skilled manpower to take the country forward.
Grameenphone Chief Executive Michael Foly said with the possibility of this platform, we are hopeful that this project will create hundreds of job opportunities to help the country’s industry, digitization of the economy and to build a competitive Digital Bangladesh.
