Fine state minister and secretary fined driving
Police have fined some senior officials, including state minister for driving cars in the opposite direction, in the capital. Among them, there are secretary-level officials.
The drive started on Sunday at 4:00 pm on Sunday, till 6 pm.
DMP South Traffic Department sources said that the anti-corruption commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud, standing on the street in front of the state guest building Sugandha, stood watching him.
After that, the initiative of the police began to prevent the reverse car and motorcycle operation. In the two-hour-long operation, 50 vehicles were filed and fined. Of them, 40 are government cars.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Ashraf Hossain said the 50 vehicles that were reversed in the operation were fined.
He said that VIP cars are more on Hair Road and many people drive in the opposite direction. State Minister for Social Welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed was fined because of the sudden expedition. Legal measures were taken to obstruct the cars of the opposite secretary, home ministry, Raju, fire service and police officers and journalists. Three cars were sent to dumping.
Traffic Police Metropolitan South’s Deputy Inspector Rifat Rahman Shamim was present during the operation.
