Iraq’s former President Jalal Talabani is no more (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Razifan). He died at Berlin in Germany at the age of 84 on Tuesday.

Jalal Talabani is one name discussed in the Iraqi president. He was the first Arab President of the first non-Arab Iraq. Not only this, two years after the fall of Saddam Hussein in the intervention of the United States-led Western Alliance, these Kurds took over as the political president in 2005. And he resigned after showing health reasons in 2014.

Talabani was born in 1933 in Irbil’s only autonomous region, Irbil, the capital of Kurdistan, currently active in demanding independence.

This politician, who is demanding the rights of the Kurds, was called by his supporters ‘Uncle Jalal’. However, critics considered him the ‘puppet president’ of the West.
