Gujarat Chief Minister’s family fined Rs. 15 lakhs
The people of Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s family have been fined for illegal trade in the stock market. More than 21 people have been convicted of the same crime.
Indian Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) fined the Rupani family.
Rooney’s organization HUF has been fined Rs. 15 lakhs. At the same time, each of the three accused persons was fined Rs. 70 lakhs. Two brokers are on the list of accused, who each have to pay a fine of Rs eight lakh.
Note that Rupa took charge as Chief Minister in August 2016.
