ICC T-League League approved by the ICC
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given green signal to the T-20 league for the first time in Canada.
The tournament is expected to be held in the three venues of Toronto in July.
Pakistan, West Indies and New Zealand’s T-20s freelancers will be participating in the tournament. However, the local four players will be kept in each team. A cricket advisory board will be constituted with high-profile former players for the management of the tournament.
The popular T-20 popular players like Brendon McCullum, Kieron Pollard, and Dwayne Bravo are expected to play in the tournament. Originally aimed at popularizing cricket in Canada such arrangements.
Cricket Canada President Ranjeet Saini said, “The tournament is being organized to replace the Canadian cricket. It is a big challenge and Cricket Canada is ready to host this tournament beautifully and successfully. “
