Norwegian-Finland relief on a flight for Rohingya
Residents of Norway and the Finland Red Cross have arrived in Chittagong on a cargo flight for refugees fleeing Bangladesh in the face of humanitarian disasters in Myanmar.
On Friday, cargo flights to Chittagong’s Shah Amanat International Airport landed on 59.1157 metric tons of relief material.
Most of the relief is medical equipment.
Red Cross Norway’s logistic agent Wood Pedersen handed over these relief materials to Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Habibur Rahman. Among others, Bangladesh Red Crescent’s Chittagong unit Secretary Abdul Jabbar and Bangladesh Red Crescent Officer Arif Rahman were present among others.
