Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangladesh does not expect any assistance from US President Donald Trump about the problems of Rohingya refugees. Because he knows Trump’s attitude on this issue.

In an interview with Reuters on Monday, Sheikh Hasina told her country’s position in the interview.

Earlier, in the United Nations headquarters, Trump had talked with Trump for a few minutes on the sidelines of a meeting organized by Trump.

Sheikh Hasina told Reuters, “He wants to know (Trump), what is the condition of Bangladesh? I say, good. But there is only one problem; Rohingya refugees from Myanmar But he did not comment on this. ”

Sheikh Hasina told Reuters, “The position of the trump was clear to Rohingya Muslim refugees. So there is no point in asking him for help. ‘

Sheikh Hasina said, “In the meantime, America has declared that they will not allow any refugees to enter the country. How do I expect help from them, especially to the President (Trump) He has already clarified his position … then why would I ask for help? ‘

The Prime Minister said, “Bangladesh is not a rich country … but if we can feed 16 million people, then 5 or 7 lakh people will be able to feed them.”

Trump tries to give a 120-day suspension to the United States on refugee affairs in January with the responsibility of the president. In this end, the United States on the 90-day ban on six nationals of six Muslim countries issued a ban. Last Friday, Trump said in a Twitter message, “Travel restrictions in the United States should be more comprehensive, strict and specific.”

There was about 10 lakh Rohingya buses till recent violence in Rakhine. But there they have to live in different barriers. Their citizenship was denied. Most of the Buddhists here claim to be Rohingya residents from Bangladesh.

On taking back Rohingya, Sheikh Hasina said that she hoped for more international pressure on Burma to take back Rohingyas.

Sheikh Hasina said, “(Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi) will have to admit that these people are their country and Myanmar is their country. They should take them back. These people are suffering. ‘

Rohingya rebels attacked Myanmar police post on August 25. In the wake of the incident, the country’s army started rape, torture and arson in the name of the operation against the Rohingya people of Rakhine.

Crossing the border to live in Bangladesh already has taken shelter in Bangladesh 4 lakh 10 thousand Rohingya. But Myanmar has denied it as their citizen. Continuing with that, the repression of the army in Myanmar has continued. The United Nations has already accused the Myanmar government of ‘eliminating ethnic cleansing’.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is currently in New York to participate in the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations. There he is scheduled to give his speech on Thursday.
