Rohingya women named ‘newborn girl’ Sheikh Hasina ‘
The 20-year-old Rohingya women’s Khadija, who ran away from Rakhine State and came to the refuge camp of Bangladesh, fled the country. She gives birth to a child in refugee shelter center. Khadiza named her daughter named after her Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
On August 25, the Myanmar army started killing innocent Rohingyas in the name of ‘Shuddhi Abhiyan’ on the charge of attacking police checkpoints. To save lives, so far 4,22,000 Rohingyas have fled to Bangladesh.
Khadiza came to Bangladesh with her after seeing her husband be brutally killed in her motherland. At that time she was eight months pregnant. Mother Alam Bahar was present at the time of childbirth in Bangladesh’s shelter camp.
Khadija, wearing a blue scarf and black burka, said, “Rakhine has been burnt down to burn the kingdom. My house has also been burnt. I have run away from Myanmar to escape. It was not the desire to survive but the struggle to survive is only to save the child of the womb.
She also said that her husband lost her husband. My country’s government has not sheltered me, burned houses. But the Bangladesh government gave us shelter. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh arranged for our food and lodging. For this, thanking her, she named my daughter ‘Hasina’.
In context, there are 17-18 thousand pregnant women among Rohingya who have taken shelter in different refugee camps. They are being looked after their care and all types of medical assistance from the government of Bangladesh.
Khadija’s mother, Alam Bahar, said that she came to Bangladesh with a lot of difficulty. My daughter was pregnant. He came here and gave birth to a daughter-in-law. We have named her ‘Hasina’. She hopes to survive us He got all the trouble away from him.
Alam Bahar also saw her husband Nuruddin be killed in front of her eyes. Now the struggle for their survival is for Sheikh Hasina.
‘The Rohingyas who have left Rakhine because of the similarity of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have got shelter, they are still alive. Even the daughter of Khadijah is getting the light of the world because of Sheikh Hasina ‘- said Alam Bahar.
