Tamim reaches Karachi for PSL playoffs
Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal reached Karachi this morning and will be quarantined at a hotel there for the next two days before undergoing the mandatory coronavirus test. Tamim is supposed to play for Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League playoffs, scheduled to start from November 14.
“Hello everyone, this is Tamim Iqbal. Just arrived this morning in Karachi [and I am] room-quarantined for the next two days. Hope the Covid testing goes well. Really looking forward for the game on 14th. Hope to represent Lahore Qalandars,” said Tamim in a video shared by Lahore Qalandars in their official Facebook page.
Lahore Qalandars are scheduled to take on Peshawar Zalmi in the Eliminator 1 on November 14.
Both Tamim and Mahmudullah Riyad were included by Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans respectively for the PSL playoffs but the latter had could not join his PSL side after testing coronavirus positive.
