The United Kingdom welcomes the participation of all political parties in the 11th parliamentary elections. However, the country has called for a credible and transparent resolution of all the allegations related to elections, such as some obstacles before elections and some people being voted in the election day.

On Tuesday, the UK and State Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mark Field, in a statement, said in a statement.

He said I welcome the participation of all parties in Bangladesh’s parliamentary elections. But I know there was some obstacle before the election so that the opposition could not run the campaign unheard of and some people were barred from voting on election day. I urge the transparent and credible solution to all the election-related complaints.

He said I am shocked by the horror and violence during the campaign. At the same time, Khwi is concerned about casualties on election day. He said that free, fair, peaceful and non-negotiable elections are necessary for an effective democracy. It is also important for the government and the opposition to work together to overcome the disagreements and take forward such programs which are good for the people of Bangladesh. He also said that the United Kingdom has a broad and important partnership with Bangladesh. The UK will continue to support the desire of a stable, prosperous and democratic future that is of the people of Bangladesh.
