The uncertainty of Rubel’s game in South Africa!
There was uncertainty about paceman Rubel Hossain’s game in the upcoming tour of South Africa due to the absence of security clearance. That is why he did not get permission to go to South Africa till this report on Tuesday.
However, BCB chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury hoped that the problem would be resolved soon.
Pacer Rubel Hossain was supposed to go to South Africa on Saturday with the team to take part in the Test series. But Emirates officials refuse to take him on the plane when security clearance does not come from the country’s immigration department. As a result, all of them left but returned home with a kind of frustration.
BCB chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said, “We will still be able to take part in the returning test against the Proteas, who are hopeful.
He also said I spoke to Cricket South Africa Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat. They assured to see the matter very seriously.
BCB sources said that the problem has been created as Rubel Hossain, another person named in the country’s blacklist.
In this context, Bangladesh will play two Tests, three one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches against the hosts against the Proteas. The first of two Tests will begin on September 28.
