‘Understand the pain of all the lost Rohingya’ – Sheikh Hasina
Highlighting the plight of the Rohingyas who fled to Bangladesh after being tortured by the Myanmar army, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that all who lost their lives understood the pain of the Rohingya.
He said this at a public meeting after visiting the Rohingya camp registered at Ukhia Kutupalong in Cox’s Bazar around 12 pm on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister said we understand the pain of losing our loved ones. We lost our parents at ’75 and had to stay abroad as a refugee. In 1971, Pakistani occupation forces were tortured and tortured by us in this manner. The Pakistani occupation forces burnt our homes, the people of our country also had to take refuge in India.
He said, “We have given shelter to humanitarian consideration. During the great liberation war in 1971, our people’s homes were burned. People escaped without getting out and fled to India. So we’re able to afford whatever we can afford. We have also made the committee in this regard. ‘
Sheikh Hasina also said, “The Rohingyas have been given food and shelter to take shelter in Bangladesh. I urge international organizations to put pressure on Myanmar to take back Rohingyas. But we will do what we need to do as a neighboring country. The Prime Minister said, “Do not stir up their conscience in the way the people are killed in Myanmar? Lying millions of people in such a way is being forgotten. We want peace. ‘
He said, ‘We are the country of 160 million people. We can ensure food security for everyone. There will be another 5-7 million people to eat. ‘
At the time, the Prime Minister told locals, “Now the young people who have not seen the liberation war. But we have seen. So keep in mind that Rohingyas do not have any problem. ‘

Earlier, he reached Cox’s Bazar airport by a plane of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at around 10:15 am. From there, he went to Kutupalong in the car. He reached the camp at around 11:30 pm.
